Q1: Will this clog my pores?
No. Tallow is non-comedogenic and does not clog pores. Its fatty acid profile mirrors your skin's own sebum, so skin absorbs
rather than blocks it. Many people with oily or acne-prone skin find tallow helps regulate their oil production over time.
What is the difference between scented and unscented?
Our unscented range contains four ingredients. Our scented range adds a fifth — organic sweet orange essential oil in a
vitamin E carrier. Same quality base, with the option of a natural scent and added vitamin E antioxidant benefit.
How long will a jar last?
With a pea-sized amount used twice daily on the face, most customers find a jar lasts 2–4 months. Because tallow absorbs so
efficiently, a little goes considerably further than equivalent volumes of conventional moisturiser. For body use, expect 4–8 weeks depending on area covered.
Can I use this on my face and my body?
Yes. Every product in the Pure Tallow &
Honey range is multi-use — face, body, hands, and lips. The difference between
the whipped cream and the balms is texture and format, not ingredients. Choose whipped for a lighter daily application, soft balm for targeted or on-the-go use, and firm balm for the most concentrated treatment.
Can I use this under SPF or makeup?
Yes. Apply, allow 60 seconds to absorb, then apply SPF or makeup as normal. Many customers find makeup applies more smoothly over tallow.
Is this safe for babies and young children?
Yes. Our unscented variant contains four
ingredients — all organic. Safe for babies and newborns. For scented variants,
we recommend unscented for babies under 12 months.
How long will 120ml last?
A 120ml jar lasts approximately 3–4 months with a pea-sized amount used twice daily on the face. For body use, expect 6–8
weeks.
Why don't your products need preservatives?
Our formula contains no water. Preservatives exist to prevent mould in water-based products — our formula gives bacteria nothing to work with, so preservatives are unnecessary.
